-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The male and female student representatives, along with their groups, were gathered, having already claimed one circle with a flag.
Some Kanzar Academy students had tried to attack Davian's group.
But they only confirmed the overwhelming difference in skill and had to retreat.
There was no need to keep dealing with those strange kids gathered in a circle without a flag anyway.
Most of the Kanzar Academy students, except for some personnel waiting in the rear, flocked to the corner with the last three remaining flags.
Davian, watching this, shouted loudly.
Davian's voice, filled with inner force, echoed throughout the arena.
"Elton Academy!"
The eyes of the Elton Academy players turned to Davian, as did those of the attacking Kanzar Academy players.
"Hold out for 10 minutes! Just 10 minutes! Surely you don't want to be the first squadron to lose in a friendly match!"
Ellaime shouted.
"What are you planning to do!"
"You'll see!"
Tch.
We have no choice but to trust him.
Ellaime gritted his teeth.
His gaze intertwined with Colson and the other students standing beside him.
The Elton Academy students looked at each other and quietly nodded.
Now, all they could rely on was Davian's group.
In fact, Davian had gathered all the students from Friday and had been talking about today's events.
That the opponent would be formidable.
That even if they prepared thoroughly for the friendly match, it would be difficult to win.
At the time, everyone dismissed Davian's words.
Not understanding what he was talking about.
Losing to Kanzar Academy?
Why was he the only one acting like that in a match that even the professor told them to approach lightly?
But now they all knew.
Davian's words were true.
Kanzar Academy was strong.
Of course, after fighting for a while, they could tell that something was wrong with the opponents.
They had no expression, and didn't even groan when hit.
Even some who were unleashing fierce magical attacks had completely lost their eyes.
Strange was strange.
Anyway, they couldn't be the first squadron to lose in a friendly match.
"We'll hold out!"
"We can hold out for 10 minutes!"
"Davian must have some kind of plan!"
"The male representative didn't abandon us!"
At first, they thought Davian was angry because they didn't believe him.
So they thought he was staying out of the battle, off to the side.
The situation was already desperate.
With Davian, Ratia, and Bonita, who could be considered the main force, out of the fight, it was truly a nightmare.
It would have been nice to have Luna, who could use healing magic from behind.
Or Nubes, who was optimized to hold out without being pushed out of the circle.
But it was too frustrating to see all five of them just watching from the sidelines.
But.
Now, all they could rely on was Davian's group, who weren't surrounded by Kanzar players.
"Go! Davian! Go and take all the flags!"
"We'll try our best to hold out!"
"We'll hold out for 20 minutes, not just 10!"
No.
They can only hold out for 10 minutes.
Once there are three flags left and they are cornered, the Elton Academy students will desperately fight back.
There haven't been any deaths yet, but the last 10 minutes of the bloody battle will be different.
In 10 minutes, the match will end with only a heap of casualties, leaving behind only scars.
'This time will be different.'
Davian turned his head to face forward.
"Guys, are you ready?"
"We just have to do what we practiced on the weekend, right?"
"Yeah, let's go. We have to finish it in 10 minutes. The faster the better, to avoid hurting our people."
Bonita untied the string around her wrist and roughly tied her long hair back.
"I'll finish it in 5 minutes."
"Bonita, don't get excited and rush ahead. Always move with the others. Just like we practiced. Even you can't hold out if you're surrounded by them."
"I know."
"The guys attacking our camp will be coming back to defend soon, so be prepared."
"Okay!"
"Yeah!"
"Then let's go!"
Davian leaped to the right first.
Davian's plan was to move in two groups.
The group to take the flags from the left side of the arena would be the tanker Nubes, the melee dealer Bonita, the ranged dealer and area-of-effect dealer Ratia, and the healer Luna.
The classic 4-person party.
And the group that would handle the right side.
Davian. A solo play.
Davian was the first to cross the center line.
Since there was no party to move with, his speed was naturally fast.
The Kanzar Academy players in the defense formation inside the center line numbered about twenty.
Scattered around the circles in groups of a few.
First, he entered an empty circle and began to pull out the flag.
Commotion in the Kanzar camp.
It was Davian's first time crossing the center line as well.
In the first playthrough, he died during the first semester's dungeon exploration quest, so he never even made it this far.
In the second playthrough, he was stuck in the corner with the Elton Academy group, getting beaten to a pulp.
Davian had gathered 6-star magic power over three playthroughs, but that was after entering the 6th grade in the third playthrough.
With the skills of Davian in the 1st grade of the 3rd playthrough, there was no way to turn this game around.
'It's different now.'
Double major.
Magic power slightly below a 7-star mage.
Inner force slightly below a 5-star swordsman.
External force raised almost to the level of inner force.
Skill 'Blessing of Hydra Lv.25'.
Skill 'Eyes to See the Sword Path Lv.37'.
Advanced skill 'Festival of Fire Lv.8'.
Skill 'Shadow Walk Lv.1'.
A rare ★★★★ item 'Ferrarius's Gloves' that amplifies magic power and creates an ice sword.
Six doses of stamina tonic made from the Hydra's regenerative stem.
The resulting increase in health by 77%.
Only half a semester had passed.
But it was a tremendous growth compared to the end of the 3rd playthrough.
After pulling out a few more flags from the empty circles.
He set his first target for combat.
Since most of the players were in the attack formation, there weren't many players guarding the circles.
Whoosh.
Davian's left hand created a fireball.
Normally, he would have just thrown it as is.
'I'll give it my all.'
Even if he focused and controlled the magic power, he could only inject 3-star or 4-star magic power into the fireball that he had just created.
To contain even greater magic power, he needed a little more time.
But fireballs were simple in shape and manifestation, so it didn't take long.
Davian, who had deliberately created the fireball in advance, ran towards the student guarding the flag and injected more magic power.
A fireball containing 6-star magic power was completed.
Kwang!
Just a watermelon-sized fireball flying through the air.
A huge explosion occurred.
A pillar of fire soared into the sky along with the explosion.
VIP seating.
Chancellor Probito stood up abruptly.
Some of the Kanzar Academy professors did the same.
"Who is that guy! Did they secretly plant a 7th grader, or even a teaching assistant, in the arena? No. It's not the size of the magic power that's the problem. What is that movement? A magician who has practiced inner force?"
A smirk appeared on Professor Stella's lips.
"A magician? He's my student."
Probito turned to Stella with a surprised look.
"That guy is in the swordsmanship department?"
Professor Mateo turned his head.
A faint smile was on his lips.
"He's my student too."
"Are you playing games with me! What is that guy's identity!"
Chancellor Probito's excitement was understandable.
Having accumulated many years of experience in magic, he had discerned Davian's skills with just one fireball.
6-star fireball.
Magic power beyond the academy level.
Then, the Kanzar Academy magic professor sitting next to Chancellor Probito opened his mouth.
"Chancellor. Isn't there a student who's been rumored about? The one who's double majoring at Elton Academy..."
"Ah!"
Probito let out a short exclamation, as if he had just remembered.
"His name is... Davian Naone, was it? I think I heard about him. The oddball who's double majoring."
His head turned back to the arena.
Boom!
Wham!
Swish!
In the midst of this short conversation.
The guy who's double majoring had already taken out five more flags.
The situation was the same on the left side of the arena.
The Elton Academy students, in a party of four, were methodically taking over the circles.
"Where did those guys suddenly come from..."
Professor Kinesis laughed gruffly in a metallic voice.
"Probito, watch closely. That child is also my protege."
"That Davian guy is learning your old-fashioned telekinesis, Kinesis?"
Kinesis ignored Chancellor Probito's question and turned his head back to the arena.
"Let's see... It's about time he used it, isn't it? He must know that there's no magic as useful as telekinetic magic in this game."
It was then.
Whoosh.
One of the Kanzar Academy players guarding the flag floated into the air and was thrown out of the arena.
"What do you think, Probito? My protege's skills. Do you still think telekinetic magic should be treated as outdated?"
Probito frowned.
'To do that to a moving person. How many years has he devoted to telekinetic magic? Is it even possible to learn all of this at that age?'
Whirr!
A pillar of fire shot by a Kanzar Academy player engulfed Davian's back.
Davian was casting telekinetic magic on a player in front of him.
Chancellor Probito smirked.
'No matter how much he shows off, that's the end for him.'
Then.
Swish.
A transparent, smooth sword appeared in Davian's right hand.
And then.
Slash.
Without even turning around, he twisted his body 90 degrees and cut the pillar of fire in half.
His left hand was still sending a player flying with telekinetic magic.
'What the hell is that guy!'
After watching the arena with surprised eyes for a while, Probito slowly sat down on his chair.
'I think we admitted someone who's out of this world. But the game isn't over yet.'
Probito started to laugh again with a relaxed expression.
"We really admitted a remarkable guy. Elton Academy sure is lucky. To have such talent roll in. But. The game result won't change just because of that guy."
Sensing the unusual flow, the Kanzar Academy players began to return to the defense formation one after another.
Davian shouted to his friends.
"Stop taking the flags for a moment and deal with the ones behind us! It's dangerous if we're surrounded on both sides!"
Bonita, who was at the front, quickly flew back.
The Bonita, Nubes, Ratia, and Luna party quickly turned around and completed their formation.
"Just block them as much as you can for now! I'll keep taking the flags!"
"Got it, Davian!"
Ratia raised both hands high.
"Bonita! Nubes! Just buy me some time!"
"How much?"
"About... 2 minutes?"
"Got it!"
Bonita and Nubes paired up and stepped forward.
Clang!
The first player to return to the defense formation met Bonita's wooden sword.
Bonita's sword smoothly deflected the opponent's sword.
Followed by a flowing kick attack.
Wham!
It definitely landed properly.
But the Kanzar Academy student endured Bonita's kick without even flinching.
Then.
Thwack!
Nubes' body check exploded.
It was the same opponent that was unmoved by Bonita's kick.
But they were no match for the giant Nubes' body check.
They were pushed back for a long time and eventually rolled away.
Bonita clicked her tongue.
"Impressive, the strength is real."
Another student quickly charged from Nubes' blind spot.
A quick attack as if to kill him in one blow.
It was too late to help.
"Nubes! Dodge!"
Crack!
Nubes' thick right arm collided with the opponent's wooden sword.
But.
It was the wooden sword that broke.
Bonita had no choice but to click her tongue again.
"The durability is even more impressive."
