Born as the 7th Prince - 50

"By the way, where are we now?"

For now, I know that we're not in the royal palace because Bossa said that we just left the royal palace.

But, since it's my first time going outside the royal palace, I don't know the location at all.

Right now, we're in front of an iron gate with delicate decorations that you'd find at a rich person's house.

Even though we ran out, well, we escaped in front of General Baltzar, so it wouldn't be that I was kidnapped too, right?

"That's right. It would take too long if I told you the details, so simply put. The royal palace is circular with the central grand hall as the center and the residences of the royal family and the central government offices, right? There are corridors extending from the central circle. At the end of those corridors are gardens, and outside of those are two staff buildings each. Right now, we're at the front gate, which is past those two staff buildings on the west side."

As Master Cyrillos said that and turned around, I could indeed see a four-story building with European sculptures at the end of the road leading from the gate.

Also, there aren't many people, but people are sparsely going back and forth on the road extending from the gate we're at now to that building.

I hadn't noticed that we had run that distance because I had been hugging Master Cyrillos tightly the whole time after jumping out of the window.

Perhaps he used magic to lighten the body or to strengthen the legs?

"By the way, you're not wearing your usual plate armor today, are you?"

"It would be cold for Lord Raymond to be held in that armor, wouldn't it? It's something I used to wear."

Master Cyrillos tilting his head slightly while asking if it suits him is priceless.

He tucked his pants into his boots and wore a checkered vest over a shirt that was buttoned up to the first button.

"If I had to say, it's cool."

"Oh, thank you."

"Hey, it's fine to flirt, but if we're going to the Cassinelli residence, shouldn't we go quickly?"

Bossa, who had a somewhat exasperated expression, said that and pointed in the opposite direction from the royal palace.

"It's faster to go back to the military training grounds and borrow a horse than to borrow a street carriage. I'm going to talk to someone about the security, so please don't move, both of you, okay?"

"Is that a setup?"

"It's not a setup!!! You absolutely can't move, okay!?"

Saying that, Bossa glanced at us from time to time and ran to the staff building that Master Cyrillos had shown us earlier.

Well, I'd feel sorry if I left Bossa behind.

Also, I want a person to report to General Baltzar later.

"By the way, where is the military training ground?"

"The staff buildings on the west side, we call the outside one the general building and the inside one the staff building. Various applications and requests can be made in the general building. The entry and exit of general citizens who don't work at the royal palace is only up to this general building. The staff building on the inside is where the paperwork that has come up from the general building is processed. There is a military guard station between each of the general building and the staff building for the purpose of guarding the royal palace. The training ground is also in the same place."

While waiting for Bossa, Master Cyrillos put me down on the ground once, removed the waist cloth that he was wearing around his waist, and put it on me like a cloak.

Black hair will make you recognizable as royalty at a glance, so it can't be helped.

"Oh, so does that mean we came through that training ground too?"

"Haha. Don't worry, I didn't do anything that would be noticed by them. If you ever want to escape from the royal palace, please let me know and I'll take you out."

"If you do that, our follow-up will be a lot of work, so please stop doing it in the future?"

Saying that, Bossa came back with two horses in tow.

"Oh, not a carriage?"

"Unfortunately, it seems like it would take time to borrow a carriage, so I went with horses. I thought Lord Raymond wanted to go to the Cassinelli residence quickly. Also, it's a big deal for royalty to go outside, you know?"

"That's right. But I've never ridden a horse before, so I'll leave it to Master Cyrillos. Also, I wouldn't do this if it wasn't an emergency like this time."

"Then Lord Raymond, please keep your mouth closed."

With me in his arms, Master Cyrillos hopped onto the horse and sat me in front.

He then fixed my body and his so that my back and Master Cyrillos' stomach wouldn't separate with a string that he took out from his chest.

"Now then, shall we go?"

"What were you two going to do if I wasn't here?"

While lightly running the horse, Master Cyrillos tightly gripped the string that fixed me and himself and I tightly sealed my mouth shut.

Horses have a lot of up and down movement, you know.

I'll bite my tongue if I talk.

"I think it's good to have the spirit to protect your subordinates even if you have to put your own life on the line. But our military is in charge of guarding the royal palace, so please rely on us a little."

"This time, it's because of the military's negligence, but that's..."

Bossa's words were suddenly cut off by the words that involuntarily came out of my mouth.

"Anyway! This time, it's also my fault, so I'll cooperate without complaining! But please refrain from doing this in the future!?"

I wonder if it's better not to say that he's already complaining.

"Lord Cosimo. Complaints have already been made."
