"Brother Gian and Brother John? What's wrong?"
Ludo-san said he would see me to my room, so I took him up on his offer and returned to my room while talking to him. Just then, Brother Gian, looking a bit dejected, and Brother John, supporting his shoulder, were coming out of my room.
Gian-nii-sama, noticing me, brightened his face, but then his face turned pale when he saw Ludo-san standing next to me.
"Ah, you were with Bernardo?"
"Eh? Ah, yes. I was with Federico-nii-sama until just now. Ludo-san just saw me back here."

Ludo-san greeted them with a charming smile at my words, and both Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama's shoulders twitched.

Gian-nii-sama, trembling and hesitant, peeked out from behind John-nii-sama, but when Ludo-san's gaze turned to him, he hid again!
"Seriously! What did you do to my brothers, Ludo-san?"
"It wasn't anything big? You know, when Federico tries to make an expression, he furrows his brow, right? I just stood behind those scared little guys and stared at them."

"You evil prankster!"
I punched him in the side again.
"Haha! Sorry, Rai-sama. Giovanni-sama and Giancarlo-sama, I'm sorry too. Well then, I should be getting back to Federico soon. I'll see you later."
Ludo-san, still smiling sweetly, patted my head, bowed lightly to Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama, and then headed back towards Federico-nii-sama's study.
Contrary to his first impression, which was as gentle as you wouldn't expect from his flashy appearance, Ludo-san was just a prankster.
Even so, that's probably what makes a good balance with Federico-nii-sama, who has trouble communicating.

Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama said that in unison.
He's just bad at talking. His facial muscles, other than those around his eyebrows, are on strike, so he looks like he's angry, but he's just bad at talking.
"I'm going to have a tea party with Federico-nii-sama next time, would you two like to join?"

"He's actually pretty cute once you get to know him?"

Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama couldn't hide their surprise at my words.
Probably because their impression was so different from what I said.
"That person really likes us brothers, you know? You should try talking to him, not just judging him based on superficial things like his expressions and how much he talks. He's really cute."
Well, I could have just left them alone, but I like Federico-nii-sama, Gian-nii-sama, and John-nii-sama, so I'd like them to get along if possible.

"Well, if you have a dislike for him, it can't be helped, but if you feel like it, please come to the tea party, okay?"
Knowing that Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama are weak to me, I used that to tell them that. In response, the two of them had a flustered expression for a moment, and then smiled gently as if to say, "I can't help it."

"That's right. Well, I've had a dislike for Federico-nii-ue since I was a kid. It won't happen right away, but I'll participate in a tea party when you're there sometime soon."
I was so happy that Gian-nii-sama and John-nii-sama said that, that I involuntarily took their hands and raised my voice.

Ah, I'm already looking forward to the tea party with Federico-nii-sama, even though I'm old enough to know better!
